Srinagar: A youth injured in a road accident in Qazigund, Anantnag, two weeks before succumbed at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science, Srinagar, on Tuesday morning.

Official told that Aishaf Rashid Tantary, the 35-year-old resident of Shampora Qazigund, was admitted at SKIMS Hospital on 17 April after being seriously injured in a road mishap at Choimulla Qazigund.

However, after battling for his life for two weeks, the youth succumbed at the hospital on Tuesday.

After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. (KNO)
