One Pakistani militant was killed in the gunfight in Sopore with the government forces while one local militant fled the cordon, said the police.
Earlier a gunfight broke out in Panipora forest of Sopore district.
“1 Pakistani terrorist affiliated with proscribed terror outfit LeT killed. Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition recovered,” police said in a tweet. “2 FTs and one local terrorist escaped from cordon. Search going on.”
