Government forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Braripora-Gund Village of central Kashmir Budgam district on Wednesday evening.

Reports reaching to a local news agency, KDC said a joint team of the army’s 50RR, SOG and police cordoned off Braripora-Gund and conducted house to house searches there.
Reports said that all entry and exit points towards the area were sealed off by the government forces.
Sources told KDC that the search operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
