A private school principal in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district while abusing his official position has allegedly raped two of his female students who happen to be sisters.
The duo belongs to the Kakapora area of the Pulwama district and both are minor.
In another incident, two minor girls have been allegedly raped by their father in the same district. The duo (name withheld) belong to the Litter area of the district.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Pulwama, Gulam Jeelani told The Kashmir Walla that after receiving complaints, arrests of the main accused in both the cases were carried out immediately.
He said medical examinations of the victims have been conducted and an “investigation has been set into motion under relevant sections of law.”
Jeelani further said that both the cases are being thoroughly investigated to know the other facts given the cases. Meanwhile, it was not immediately known for how long the victims have been sexually abused.
As per sources, the victims are aged below 15 years, which could not be independently verified.
