A sanitation worker of municipal committee Budgam was killed, while tractor driver was injured after a tractor they were travelling in, turned turtle in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
An official told a local news agency, Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), “Tractor of municipal committee Budgam driven by Mohammad Iqbal Bhat of Haknipora, accompanied by a sanitation worker identified as Mohammad Amin Hajam Ghulam Ahmad Hajam of Apribagh Khag, upon reaching the dumping site Mamat, turned turtle and both were injured.”
Both were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where the sanitation worker succumbed to his injuries.
A police officer confirmed the incident to KDC and said a case under relevant sections of law is being registered in this regard. (KDC)
