Rejected by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association for several times, Mateen Teli, a youngster from Sopore area of north Kashmir named Mateen Teli, was selected as a net bowler for the England test team before their second test against the new Zealand at Trent bridge stadium.

According to media reports, Mateen bagged a couple of wickets, in which he clean bowled one of the dangerous batsmen of the era Jonny Bairstow and he took the wicket of Zak Crawley top-order batsman.

Mateen was praised by England’s coach and renowned cricketer Paul Collingwood.

The family of Muteen confirmed to news agency that this development took place before few days when he was selected for England net bowler.
