A 28-year-old woman died after she was allegedly found hanging from a ceiling fan in Zainapora in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports reaching to a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS), said the woman (name withheld) was at her parental house at Safanagri village, where she was found hanging from the ceiling fan this evening.
The woman, pregnant for several months now, was rushed to a health facility in critical conditions where she died shortly after.
Confirming it, a police official told GNS that cognizance has been taken into the matter for due investigations. (GNS)
