Traffic was affected on Wednesday after a portion of a road in Srinagar’s Dalgate area on the bank of Dal Lake caved in.
The portion of the road near the famed Dal Lake caved in about a few feet.
According to a report, during the incident, a couple of two-wheelers were parked on the stretch. As the road caved in, the two-wheelers also fell into the lake.
Adding that a motorcycle and a scooty were retrieved from the lake while no loss of life has been reported.
Meanwhile, traffic has been diverted to other connecting roads.
