A policeman was injured after a car hit a motorcycle driven by him near Chogul Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
Unnamed official sources told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS), that an accident took place on Sopore-Kupwara near Petrol pump Chogal when a WaganR car, number JK01P-1320, hit the motorcycle (6502/05D) driven by policeman Tahir Ahmad Bhat of Lachampora Rajwar.
The policeman was injured and was shifted to district hospital Handwara wherefrom he was referred to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment, they added. (GNS)
