A policeman was injured on Monday evening after a gunfight broke out between forces and militants in Hoowra village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Police said that a joint team of police and government forces are on job while a policeman has got injured in the gunfight.
“#Encounter has started at Hoowra village of #Kulgam district. Police & Security Forces are on the job. One JKP personnel got injured. Operation in progress. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted. (KNO)
