Police in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday arrested two residents of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district after some posters and letter pad of proscribed militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) were allegedly recovered from their possession.

Police sources told a local news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that during naka checking at Kille Kadel Qaisermulla, Chadoora, police arrested two persons along with some LeT posters and letter pad.

Sources identified the arrested duo as Ubaid Amin Malla son of Mohd Amin Malla and Sameer Rashid Yatoo son of Abdul Rashid Yatoo, both residents of Tarigam village of Kulgam district.

Meanwhile, a case under First Investigation Report (FIR) number 06/2021 under section 13 of Unlawful Act has been registered at Police Station Chadoora in this regard and further investigations have been initiated. (KDC)
