Police on Tuesday recovered body of a Pathwari (revenue official) from an orchard in Shopian district of south Kashmir.

A local news gathering agency quoting unnamed officials reported that body of the Pathwari identified as Inam-ul-Haq was found at Aghlar, some five kilometers from his native village—Balpora Shopian.

There were no injury marks on his body and apparently it seems that he might have suffered cardiac arrest as a consequence of which he died, they said.

“The further necessary action has been initiated to know the real cause of death,” they added. (GNS)
