Claiming to have achieved a big success, goveremt forces on Friday recovered a huge consignment of narcotics during an operation in an area located close to Line of Control in Poonch district, Officials said.

The officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the consignment was recovered by army and police during a joint operation that was launched in an area close to LoC in Poonch district.

The operation, as per officials, was launched on the intervening night of Jan 20 and 21.

“The operation led to recovery of approximately 31 kg of narcotics near LoC in Poonch,” the official said—(KNO)
