Noted women rights activists from Jammu region on Saturday joined Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference in presence of Rydham Singh and others.

According to the party spokesman, the new entrants are Amrash Kaur, Payal Khajuria, Naseem Akhtar, Tasneem mughal and Shama Devi. The leaders who welcomed them in the fold were Rydhampreet Singh, Ajaz Ahmed, Rukhsar Mughal, Imran Kohli, Mohd. Shaban, Mohd. Moheen and Prince Kumar.

The new entrants stated, in their address on the occasion of their joining, that “People’s Conference is emerging as a most viable and acceptable alternative to decades old traditional politics in Jammu and Kashmir”.

They added: “Under the leadership of party President Sajad Gani Lone, youth of the state will find ample space for their ideas to flourish and energies to get channelized.”
