Srinagar: Police on Thursday evening refuted news about a TA personnel abducted in Chadoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
In a statement to GNS, the police said that a fake news of kidnapping of TA jawan from Chadoora area of Budgam by militants is being circulated on some WhatsApp news groups.
A police spokesman said that strict action shall be taken against such whatsapp news groups for spreading fake/unconfirmed news, reads the statement.(GNS)
