Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, P K Pole on Saturday said that “Har Ghar Tiranga” is totally a voluntary movement and there is no compulsion and insistence in it.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function here, P K Pole, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that this movement is totally on voluntary basis and there won’t be any kind of compulsion in it.

“All those citizens who want to unfurl the Tiranga in their homes or on their shops by following the flag code between 14 August  and  15 August is welcome and Tricolour will be given to them on a reasonable cost,” he said.

He added that there will be no compulsion in it, as this movement is totally on voluntary, appeal and awareness basis.

“But only one thing will have to be kept in mind is that proper flag code is followed by those who want to unfurl the Tricolour in their homes or at their shops. They will be sensitised about the same,” he said. (KNO)
