Border Security Forces (BSF) on early Tuesday foiled a major narco smuggling bid and gunned down a Pakistan smuggler in the Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district.
Quoting an official, a local news agency reported that on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, the vigilant BSF troops neutralised a smuggler from Pakistan while he was trying to smuggle Narcotics through the Ramgarh border area.
“During the initial search of the area four packets of suspected Narcotics (weighing approx 4 kgs) were found along with the dead body of the Pak smuggler. The search operation in the area is going on,” the official said.
