Mother-daughter duo were injured in a road accident on the Srinagar-Kargil highway at Padabal Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Police said that there was a collision between a load carrier and an Alto car resulting in injuries to the mother-daughter duo.

They have been identified as Ume Kulsoom wife of Muhammad Raheem and Zehra Batool daughter of Muhammad Raheem residents of Chankthan Kargil.

The duo had been taken to Sub District Hospital Kangan for treatment while police registered a case under relevant sections of law. (KNT)
