Srinagar: Militants on Wednesday evening offered gun salute to their associate in Waghama village of Bijebhera in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Three masked militants this evening appeared at graveyard Waghama of Bijebhera and fired several round in air to pay tribute to the slain Khateeb-Ul-Das who was killed in a shootout at Lawaypora, Srinagar along with another militant Zia-ur Rehman of Lashkar-e-Toiba. One CRPF personnel was also killed in the exchange of fire,reported wire service KNO.
Meanwhile, police officials told that they are verifying the facts and ascertaining the details about the incident.(KNO)
