Militants late evening fired upon a party of the government forces on a checkpoint in Sumbal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora on Friday.
A senior police officer told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS), that militants fired upon the joint naka party at Sumbal, the fire was retaliated. However in this incident no loss of life or injury was reported, the officer added.
Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (GNS)
