Lashing out at Mehbooba Mufti for her Taliban remark, BJP J-K general secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta on Sunday said that Jammu and Kashmir will not become hostage to ‘their politics of deceit and hypocrisy.’
“The people have outrightly rejected the politics of polarization and have time and again reposed their faith in the vision of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi,” Gupta said in a statement issued here.
Gupta according to the communique was addressing a party worker meeting in the Androlla village where he strongly condemned the statement of former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti.
He asserted that she has disrespected the youth of J-K by drawing a comparison between the Taliban- ‘a terrorist organisation and our youth’. He strongly sought her apology for the same.
“From supporting Taliban to pro-Pakistan stand and anti-national remarks, Mufti has repeatedly tried to disturb the peace of J&K. Her links with Taliban or ISI should be investigated as her statements testify her friendship with these terrible terrorist outfits”, said Vibodh.
