Jammu and Kashmir police today claimed that so far this year 100 militants including 71 locals and 29 foreigners were killed in various anti-militancy operations in Kashmir.
IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that 100 militants including 71 locals & 29 foreigners were killed in different gunfights in 5 months & 12 days of the current year.
He added that 50 militants including 49 locals and 1 foreign militants were killed last year in the same duration.
“Maximum losses to LeT (63) and JeM (24) militant outfits,” quoting IGP, Kashmir police zone tweeted.
