Srinagar: Hardeep Singh Puri, the Union Minister for Civil Aviation (I/C), on Wednesday announced that domestic flight operations will resume in “a calibrated manner” from Monday, 25 May.

The minister said that domestic civil flights will recommence in airports across the country from Monday and all airports and airlines “are being informed to be ready for operations from 25th May.”

He added that guidelines for passenger movement are also being separately issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Flight operations are being resumed in the country after two months since 25 March when the government first imposed a nationwide lockdown to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
