Lashkar-e-Toiba militant Adil Parray was killed in a “chance gunfight” in Srinagar Sunday, said the police.
In a tweet by the Kashmir police, quoting the police chief, Vijay Kumar, said: “LeT #terrorist Adil Parray of #Ganderbal who was involved in #killing of 02 JKP personnel Gh Hassan Dar in Sangam & Saifulla Qadri in Anchar Soura and injuring a 9 year old girl, killed in a chance #encounter with a small team of Police.”
Earlier, the police said that a “chance encounter” had started at Kreesbal Palpora in Sangam area of Srinagar between the militants and a small team of Srinagar Police.
