A leopard was captured alive by the wildlife department on Tuesday evening in Chadoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

An official said that a leopard was spotted at Hafroo by locals, who informed the officials accordingly.

He said that soon after getting information, the traps were set up and the leopard was captured alive.

The official said the leopard will be taken to a safe location and will be set free. (KNO)
