Srinagar: The University of Kashmir on Thursday announced the suspension of class work till 31 March in view of coronavirus scare.

“It is notified for the information of all concerned that the classwork at the University of Kashmir including its main campus and all other satellite campuses shall remain suspended w.e.f 12 March 2020 to 31 March 2020 as a precautionary measure in view of the pandemicity of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus),”  Deputy Registrar Academic Affairs KU told to a news gathering agency.

Earlier, on Wednesday government ordered the closure of all government and private schools, colleges and universities across Jammu and Kashmir amid growing scare about coronavirus. (With Inputs from GNS)
