Deputy Director of the meteorological office, Mukhtar Ahmad told The Kashmir Walla, “Weather is likely to be cloudy with chances of light rain or snow over higher reaches from 19 to 21 January.”

He added that the western disturbance is going to affect Jammu and Kashmir from 22 January. “From 22nd to 24 January, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snow over plains as well as higher reaches,” he said.
