Srinagar: Authorities in Kashmir snapped internet services in Kashmir on Wednesday evening after the speculations  were on rife about Hurriyat Conference (G) leader, Syed Ali Geelani’s deteriorating health.

According to reports, the services were snapped soon after the rumours spread over social media about the leader’s death.

The ailing leader’s health condition is deteriorated since past six months and he was admitted in SKIMS hospital recently.

The leader is under house arrest since past ten years.

Meanwhile, Naseem Geelani, the son of Hurriyat leader on Wednesday evening refuted the news reports that Syed Ali Geelani passed away this evening.
