District Magistrate Kargil has ordered closure of schools for in person teaching in the region from 3rd December, 2021 till further orders.
The order states that due to spike in cases in the district as well as the World Health Organisation raising concerns over the new variant, the administration has decided to close all educational institutions.
However, the students will be allowed to appear for board examinations which are currently going on in the district. The administration has also asked for sampling of all the students and ordered following of all the protocols and SOPs.
