Three persons were injured after a jackal attacked them in broad daylight by entering a residential house in Haril area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Reports reaching said that the trio was inside a residential belonging to one Abdul Majid Wani at Haril, Langate area, when attacked by the beast this afternoon.

Identifying the injured persons as, Abdul Majeed Wani son of Abdul Khaliq Wani, Umar Majeed son of Abdul Majeed Wani and Najma Bano daughter of Abdul Majeed Wani, a medical official at DH Handwara said that they have received three patients with different bodily injuries.

“All of them are out of danger and responding well to the treatment”, the official added. (GNS)
