A Jammu and Kashmir non-governmental organisation facilitated students of Bonpora Peerpora village, in Shopian district of south Kashmir, with sports kits, computers, and stationery materials for their education.
The J-K Centre for peace and Justice Foundation (JKCPJ) continued its student outreach program and Interacted with the students and teachers of the Government Primary School in the village.
Students and teachers highlighted infrastructure needs that include a library, computer facility, and sports infrastructure. With the latest facilitation, the NGO said it aims “minimize stumbling blocks on the road to achieving the goal of quality education.”
“To inculcate the reading habit and enhance comprehension, books were also distributed among students,” added a statement by the NGO. The headmaster of the primary school Bunpora, Pirpora Zone Keegam, Shopian Nazir Ahmad shared his heartfelt thanks to the NGO for sending computers to the school.
