Srinagar: India and Pakistan armies on Monday continued to exchange gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of Jammu division.

On Monday evening, at around 7 PM, Pakistan army violated ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked firing, targeting Indian Army posts, a newsgathering agency quoted officials.

They said that Indian army retaliated befittingly, resulting fierce exchange of fire, which was going on when the report was last filed. (KNO)
