Srinagar: Armies of India and Pakistan on Friday exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshehra sector in Rajouri district, Jammu.

An official told that Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing small arms and shelling with mortars along LoC in Nowshehra sector. The Indian army is retaliating befittingly, the official added.
