For seventh consecutive day on Wednesday, exchange of fire continued at Bhata Dhurian gunfight site in Poonch district, officials said.

Gunfight had started in the area on last Thursday after an army patrol dueing a Cordon and Search Operation came under fire in which two army personnel got killed while two others went missing whose bodies were recovered after two days.

Meanwhile, the gunfight is still going on in dense forests of Nar in Bhata Dhurian where gunfire started in early morning hours and was going on intermittently when last reports were received.

Officials told a local news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that there was no information about militant casualties so far—(KNO)
