A mother of two kids died in a road accident in Srinagar on Thursday evening.
Family alleged that a force’s vehicle hit the Scooty that led to the death of Akifa Imtiyaz.
Family said told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a vehicle probably from CRPF hit a Scooty near Abdullah Bridge Raj Bagh Srinagar.
However quoting an official news agency Kashmir Scroll reports that a woman scooty rider was hit by SSB vehicle.
The pillion rider Akifa Imtiya died on the spot. The Scooty was driven by the son of the deceased who hailed from Chapanpora Srinagar.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. (KNT/KS)
