A hand grenade was recovered and later safely defused by the police and army in Parray Mohalla Suchipora, Kreeri in Baramulla district, where a gunfight between the militants and a joint team of government forces had taken place last week, reported a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS).
Unnamed official sources told the agency that the grenade was spotted by the joint team of force during a search operation at the gunfight site today.
The device, they said, was later defused without any harm to life or property. (GNS)
