A UBGL shell was detected and later defused in Mir Bazar area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday afternoon, officials said.
Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the shell was detected at Malpora Mir bazar by locals following which police was called and they later informed the BDS.
“The BDS rushed to the spot and defused the shell without any damage,” they said.
