Suspected militants lobbed grenade on the government forces near Azad Gunj bridge in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday, reported a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS).
An unidentified senior police officer told GNS that militants attacked an Army convoy with a grenade. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on roadside, injuring six civilians. They were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (GNS)
