The Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday announced the next phase of Back to Village (B2V) programme in the Union Territory, saying the B2V-3 programme will start from 2 October 2020.

Addressing a presser at the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) auditorium, Government spokesman and Principal Secretary to Power Development Department, Rohit Kansal said that the B2V3 programme will be started from 2 October to 12 October 2020.

He said that the administration will take adequate precautions during the programme to ensure the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is prevented from spreading.

However, Mr. Kansal stated that the government has this time decided to come up with a pre-B2V3 programme, which he said will be started from 10 to 30 September.

He said that in the next phase of B2V programme, the government will focus on action to address the grievances and demands of people rather than listening to the grievances only. (KNO)
