Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday hit out at the Goverment of India calling it “desensitized” for ‘devaluing the human lives in Kashmir’.

Her comments come a day after three civilians were killed by unknown gunmen in Kashmir.

Taking to her Twitter handle, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir said, “With the recent spate of civilian killings in Kashmir GOIs fake narrative of normalcy lies in tatters. An utterly desensitized Govt, that has devalued human lives & pushed J&K into further peril & chaos by its ruthless policies of collective punishment all in the garb of security.”

Mufti, Omar Abdullah and other unionist politicians of Kashmir have taken to twitter to express their dismay over the back-to-back attacks which left three civilians including a pharmacy owner, a street vendor, and another civilian dead. The victims were shot dead in separate incidents in Kashmir on Tuesday evening.
