Government forces on Sunday night launched a cordon and search operation in north Kashmir’s Sopore village.
A local newspaper Kashmir Despatch reported that a mixture of forces launched a cordon and search operation in Bomai village late this evening and sealed all entry and exit points in the area.
They said, forces have conducted house to house searches in the area.
An official told Kashmir Despatch following inputs about the presence of militants a joint team of security forces launched search operation in the area.
