Srinagar: Government forces on Monday morning launched a cordon-and-search operation (CASO) at Shahgund village in Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Officials told that a joint team of Army’s 13 RR, 31 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation at Shahgund village of Hajin.
They said that operation was launched following the inputs about the movement of suspected militants.
The heavy concentration of the forces was witnessed in the area and all the routes leading to the village had been sealed, and house to house search operation is going on. (KNO)
