Srinagar: Government forces on Thursday conduct searches in Nadihal village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
A cordon and search operation was launched by a joint team of army’s 14 RR unit of army and SOG Bandipora in Nadihal village in the morning. He said that the forces conducted searches in the area following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
“However, the search operation was later called off as the forces couldn’t find any trace of militants in the area,” he said. Meanwhile, the security forces carried out searches in Goshbug village of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official said that the searches we’re conducted by a joining team of army’s 22 RR unit and SOG Pattan, following inputs about the presence of militants in the area. He said that the search operation was later called off as forces couldn’t find anything in the area. (KNO)
