Srinagar: Former chief minister Farooq Abdullah has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, his son said.
His son, Omar Abdullah, took to micro-blogging website Twitter updating about his father’s health.
“My father has tested positive for COVID-19 & is showing some symptoms,” Omar wrote.
He also added that the family, including him, will be self-isolating until everyone is tested. “I request anyone who has come in to contact with us over the last few days to take all the mandated precautions,” he added.
The National Conference leader, Abdullah, 83, had earlier received first vaccine dose.
