Among the 179 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) probationers who were allotted cadre on Thursday, eleven probationers got Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre.
Last Thursday, the President promulgated the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021, through which members of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Forest Service for the existing cadre of Jammu and Kashmir have been made part of the AGMUT cadre.
As per a report by KDC, a local news agency, eleven IAS probationers, who got AGMUT cadre, are Namgyal Angmo, Jatin Kishore Azharuddin Quazi, Egna Cleetus, Giri Sankar R, Sarjan Yadav, Yashaswani, Priyank Kishore, Yahni Nagrajan, Shishir Gupta, and Vishakha Yadav.
As per the report, these officers will get a chance to serve in Jammu and Kashmir too.
