The Ladakh administration has called for reopening of all educational institutions including private schools for 6th to 8th classes from 01 September 2021.
An order issued by the District Magistrate said the decision was taken after various representations were received in view of the improved Covid-19 situation.
The concerned head of the institution shall ensure that Covid-19 SOPs and guidelines are followed in letter and spirit, the order reads, adding that the guidelines/SOPs issued vide No: 28 DMK of 2021 dated 01-08-2021 shall continue to remain in force.
Any violation of these orders shall invite action under Section 188 of IPC, Disaster Management Act 2005 and Epidemic Diseases Act 1897, the order reads.
