National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Sunday presided a meeting of YNC Kashmir at Naseem Bagh Hazratbal which was convened by Provincial President Youth Salman Sagar.
During the meeting Abdullah stressed upon the youth that they should be more vigilant towards the present situation as youth are the future of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The youth have to work for the development of J-K and have to take J-K into new era of development and peace,” he added.
He emphasized that the party workers should work unitedly for putting forward the issues of people. The people should be informed about the policies and the motives of National Conference.
“The support of Youth is central to National Conference as our party has always tried to be the voice for the issues and concerns of our youth people,” he said.
He directed the Provincial President and other functionaries to strengthen the party by bringing more youngsters into the party fold.
In the meeting, Omar Abdullah and other senior leaders of National Conference were also present. (KNS)
