A dead wild boar was fished out from a power canal in the Kangan area in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday, sources said.
Reports reaching a local news agency, Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), said that a dead wild boar also known as the wild pig was fished out from the power canal of the upper Sindh hydroelectric power project in Kangan.
An official from the wildlife department confirmed the incident and told KDC that after receiving specific information the dead pig (wild boar) was fished out and later dumped in the upper reaches of the forest area. (KDC)
