In the first phase of District Development Council (DDC) polls, over 28 per cent voting was recorded till 11:00 AM in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

A large number of voters, including men and women, in Gund A and Gund B are waiting outside the polling booths in Ganderbal, reported a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, Khalil Poswal said that they have made adequate arrangements to provide “safe and peaceful environment to the voters”. (KNO)
