Assistant Sub Inspector of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was injured after suspected militants on Monday attacked CRPF camp in Nehama area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

An unnamed senior police officer told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS) that militants attacked this evening CRPF camp in Nehama. In this incident, one ASI of CRPF identified as S. Sukumar of A/18 BN was injured who received a bullet wound in the foot.

Meanwhile, a manhunt has been launched to nab the fleeing militants.
